Ramifications of a 5-6 season

People complain about this and that the reality of it is we suffered somewhat with our recruiting when we had a 5-6 season.Some of these guys contribute more than others.As it is,I do feel every player, true freshmen,redshirt freshmen,etc. should be playing more if they can contribute and how will they not make mistakes if not given the playing time/experience.

Well yeah it was probably the worst class phil has signed after 05. Thats what 5-6 will get you. If we go on and have a subpar year as most of us think will happen. This years class may suffer too. We don't have to many scholships to give out this year. We probably wouldn't have been top five anyway just because of shear numbers. But i don't like to see our recruiting falling off.

it is not always the four and five star recruits who become the best. it would be interesting to see how many 4 to 5 star players were on our nat'l champ team compared to this year's team.
