I like him, and he made a great catch against Florida, but I honestly don't see him as being that impressive. He's a quality backup and nothing more.

Jalin Hyatt is who we should be impressed with and deserves a thread. Guy is the 38th best receiver in the nation compared to 203rd (Keyton). Guy's playing great and produces great separation - seems to always be open.

I know the sycophants that act like they hold special bonds with these players will come at me for being "mean" or "negative," but I speak the truth.

Sometimes, people really don't know what they're looking at. The kid has had only 11 balls thrown his way, catching 9 of them. Tillman and Hiatt have 28. Bru has 19. Keyton played maybe 1 snap against Pitt. Yet his catch percentage is 81.8, while Tillman's is 60.7, Hiatt's is 82.1, and Bru's is 68.4. So, he's actually doing quite well considering the number of minutes on the field and the number of balls thrown his way. Here are the rest of the snaps so far. We should be wondering why they went back to him only once for a short pass after the Sports Center moment.

The kid looks bigger, faster, stronger, and more dialed in. I am impressed because he doesn't even start for us and is making a huge difference.

You're right! According to Pro Football Focus, he has caught 81.8 % of the balls thrown to him, second only to Hiatt, who has caught 82.1!

It actually was neck and neck going into fall practice over who'd get the 2nd WR position opposite CT. It was between keyton and mccoy. I don't see much difference between the 2 so I can't say why McCoy was given the starting job. I'm glad our receivers are sticking around and setting an example for the under classmen.

Some kids just need playing time to show what they can really do. They're called gamers.

If you take a hard look at the stats, Keyton is more productive than McCoy, even with less playing time. McCoy was indeed handed that position.

He also caught a 6 yd pass on 3rd & 10, out danced to Gator tacklers to get the first down. He had a good game.
