Raleigh expressed disappointment with Hawn and cleanup hitter Matt Hamaker, who each struck out three times.

"Your All-American has to play like an All-American," Raleigh said. "You can't strike out three times."

I agree that Hawn has to get better, but you don't come out and say this to the media and look like a jerk

Although I'm not the biggest fan of calling out players in front of the media, there are times it is exactly what is needed to light a fire under some players' arses.

FIRE TODD RALEIGH.its the same stuff every year, they will get one great win and then they lose to bad teams over and over again PLUS losing AND getting swept by south carolina is just unexpectable at UT,we always beat them in every sport and now this gives the gamecock fan base more ammo for ''we beat you in baseball soo hahaha losers''

ITS TIME FOR CHANGE

If they really use this as ammo as to why they think they are better than UT, I feel sorry for them.

I completely agree. Like the guy just happen to forget he struck three times. He doesn't need his coach, someone whose suppost to lead this team in a positive direction calling him out to the media.
