Anyone think the rain might effect tonight's attendance? i think it might, but regardless it is no excuse not to be loud and raising cane. Hope we can hold on to the football. Surely dooley had them practice in wet condtions while teaching them shower etiquette. i hope our center can snap the ball well in the rain. GO VOLS!!!

It might slow down the speedsters a bit... But unless it's a downpour it probably doesn't matter.

Just checked the weather for Knoxville tonight. Not sure if this is accurate but here is what it show's for humidity. 7PM - 88%, 8PM - 94%, 9PM - 97%, 10PM - 97%, 11PM - 100%.

Chip Kelley said they have been practicing indoors to try and get use to the humidity. He said they have been able to get it at around 65% humidity. If the humidity is as high as projected, this has to be an advantage for the Vols.

Why would Brian Kelly be getting his team accustomed to the humidity for a game in Knoxville when they are playing at home this weekend against Michigan? :)

Unlike most I think the rain could help us more than not. For a team that hands off traditionally qbs hand to rb chest is safer. i understand the down field passing game is hampered but hey that affects both teams. Where I feel it hinders Oregon more is teams that run that pitch and option where it takes a perfect toss and catch or its a fumbled live ball. You see for a qb an incompletion you live to fight another day. A pitch to a rb behind the line of scrimmage can be a drive killer for a loss or more importantly a momentum killer for an offense as its a turnover.

Humidity could hurt us, yes. Yet if there's one thing that Oregon kids do well... It's dealing with rain.

If it rains, some folks stay home and yell at the TV. That's just a fact. I don't think it will impact the game much.

Humidity really effected Boise last Monday.

The projected humidity in Landover, MD at 7PM tonight, 46%. Knoxville 7PM tonight, 88%. It's suppose to hit 100% by 11PM.

Not sure what it was the other night in MD, but I am willing to bet it was much lower than that.

sure it will. if it rains, many people will opt to stay home and watch their HD.. be a lot of empty seats which there were already going to be many
