The one thing that really stuck out to me was the respect factor.. Going in, it was a huge joke to everyone outside of the fans of UT and our team.. You could see it on the faces of the gators, their fans, the announcers and all of the media ... The look on Tebow's face said it all after he hit Berry at full speed, he got up and smiled/grinned at the Florida sideline (there was no respect there)..

It appeared the collision may have done something to Tebow.... It looked like (to me at least) he was a little gimpy on the right side when he got up to walked back to the huddle..That was when he grinned/smiled to the sidelines almost like he was trying to cover it up..I saw him even ask one of the trainers afterwards "I got him didn't I?" The trainer kind of gave a small smirk like he was telling Tebow what he wanted to hear and not what he really thought..

I think the respect started right there..I think Tebow, Myer, the team and fans knew right there that it wasn't going to be the cake walk they thought.. The classic part (of the collision) was when Berry got up and walked away like nothing happen..I think everyone that had been disrespecting us were like" What the ____, Superman tried to run over that guy and it didn't even phase him"..

You could see it on the faces of the fans as the game went on that they were really worried, a lot of the fans actually sat down after Tebow fumbled and shook their heads (again the respect was coming clearer and clearer into focus)...

The most telling part of the change was the fact that the UF players were getting extra shots and pushing after the plays were over at the begining of the game (almost like a bully and they thought our players couldn't do anything about because we were weak)..By the end of the game they quit getting the extra shots in and pushing after the play, they actually stuck a hand out to help our players up off the ground after plays..

Going in there was no way in H*ll a UT player could even been thought of as a possiblity for "Player of the game"..After the game there was a whole new respect and Mr. Berry was the player of the game...

Would I have liked to win? Of course I would have, but I wouldn't have cared if we would have lost a 100, as long as I got to see our players finally get the respect they have deserved all along.. I honestly don't think I have ever been prouder of UT team as I was last night.. It makes me proud to say "GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!"

Good read and I 100% agree with you on this. Yesterday UF players and the staff realized they might not be as good as everyone thought. I think it scared the gator nation to see what happens when UF isn't playing Charleston Southern or Troy.

Time to beat the Bobcats, and the Auburn game will show us where we are. Need to make a bowl game. We should beat ohio, memphis, vandy, and UK. Now u have to win one of 3 against SClite, Aub, and UGA.

Agreed and it goes deeper than that, my sister and brother-in-law live in Florida, she said last night they went out to grab some wings after the game with their orange on and they got more "good games" and "Tennessee did good today" from gator fans than anything....she said one guy told her that "kiffin will do great things at UT."

I am proud that I bleed orange! GO VOLS!!!

GO VOLS

I was wondering if anyone else saw that I did not want to read anything into it after that hit but it did look like he was running off the field a little side ways after that hit. For MR. Berry to give away 40 lbs. and not running at full speed at the point of contact the message was sent and I believe it was heard loud through out gator country! VOLS came to play!

I also notice that he almost turned his shoulder pads the rest of the day when he ran.. The was the last head on run I saw...Itg was almost like he was trying to delfect any contact off of his right shoulder..
