Not exact but parapharsed.

We are going to examine film to the inth degree. :banghead2::banghead2::banghead2:

Fulmer

We didn't make plays. We had people in position We are not polished. Florida got some junk points at the end. :dunno::dunno::dunno:

Chavis

And the best of all.

I felt Florida was throwing deep at the end for recruiting purposes. I don't like it and no other coach in America does.
:cray::cray::cray:

Cutcliffe

Very sad :no::no::no:

I said this last night and I was led to believe that yesterday didn't matter in recruiting. Guess I was more on than I first thought I was.

Here are some better quotes from ESPN:

*Tennessee ran for only 37 yards on 21 attempts.
*The 39-point loss was Tennessee's worst defeat in Phillip Fulmer's 16-year tenure as coach of his alma mater
*Volunteers' worst loss since a 44-0 loss against Georgia to open the 1981 season.
*The Gators dominated the Volunteers in every facet of the game.
*"I didn't see this one at all," said Urban Meyer, who is 9-3 against ranked teams as Florida's coach. "I didn't see it coming until the whistle at the end, when I said, 'My goodness.'"
*That's probably also what 10 other SEC coaches said when they saw the score of the Gators' lopsided victory.

I hate the Commercial Appeal. The Vols win and you have to dig through pages and pages to find a story. They lose and it's always on the front page.

I know last night's debacle was more newsworthy than some other losses, but I swear I have seen a pattern.

That's funny, the Ole Miss and Memphis fans say the same thing every week.

Just saying.

So let me get this straight. Throwing deep late in a decided game for recruiting purposes is bad, but leaving your QB in a blowout to pad his stats for a Heisman run is fine. Jim Donnan is smiling somewhere today.

Well, the Memphis fans may have a valid beef. I get tired of the inordinate coverage of Ole Miss.

Not disagreeing with you but there are a LOT of Ole Miss fans in Memphis and the Commercial Appeals coverage area.

That is how I have gotten to go to quite a few Ole Miss games, I know a few Ole Miss fans with season tickets.

Probably more Ole Miss supporters in Memphis. Not taking a shot at Memphis I like the tigers but judging attendance they are not the major team in the Mmephis area. Arkansas and UT have a lot of fans also.

Instead of posting what he said write what you would want to hear. Would anything make you feel better? These are just the statements coaches make. No way he comes out and says the stuff people are saying on this board.

I'm pretty sure we all know that. Thats not the point I don't think of us posting that. The point is he's been saying the same stuff for how many seasons now?

What are junk points and why didn't we get any? Do they count on the scoreboard?

That illustrates the huge difference between our coaching staff and Florida's. Apparently we don't have to actually try and stop them after we get down by four touchdowns because anything more is just junk.
