Got this quote from another board...

“The Michigan Wolverines sort of remind me of my Tennessee Vols: Outrageously talented, Saturdays full of pageantry with a fight song that's fun to hum, a stadium that seats over 100,000 people, and a coach who has not said anything interesting in about 20 years. Oh, and they find ways to have great seasons yet still leave all of their fans feeling unfulfilled. Basically UT and Michigan are to college football what dry humping is to sex.”

Pretty astute observations actually. We're all quite frustrated after not getting any for almost 9 years.

I guess if you follow that logic the UT comeback against LSU was a menage au quad with Hef's girlfriends.

painfully true......I guess Im as guilty as anyone.....I really should just take a moment a savor the fact that Tennessee is a storied program steeped in tradition and second to none.......nah, it's still Phil's fault and we should win the SEC every single year.

Over the last few years, Michigan has squandered more talent.

I'm not too sure about that. In the last 4 years they have played in 3 BCS Bowls and won the Big 10 twice. I'm not sure they are incredibly more talented.

They have had superior talent at receiver, runningback and on the offensive and defensive lines. Playing in 3 BCS bowls in that span without an NC or a win in a bowl game is a gross underacheivement, and it is the main reason Fulmer and Carr have always been closely associated in the national media.

We were just as good at receiver last year... And our running in 2004 was better than theres was and is now. The Line I have to give to you. The other glaring disadvantage is we haven't had a player like Braylon Edwards who carried them in 2004.

Carr is only on the hot seat because Tressel is 5-1 against him. I think Michigan fans aren't even as upset about the way the bowls have been going.

you're right, all that national pub tOSU has been getting had to be killing the Big Blue fanbase, much like what we'll go through when Saban gets Bama turned around

I am not willing to concede we were better at revceiver last year, and we certainly have not been as deep over the past 4 years.

Carr is on the hot seat for doing less with more talent. Losses to OSU just accentuate the point.
