I'm not hearing the buzz around Quinton Hancock that I think there should be. I believe he is going to have an extraordinary season this year. I know it was just the orange and white game, but he looked more like an nfl caliber wideout to me than any other player out there...I think he is going to be a HUGE part of our offense this season. He looks the part and I think he can be our go to guy. I know he was most improved player and got some recognition, but I think he has the tools to be really special this year. Am I the only one that is this excited about him?

He and Warren are all we've got with experience for a little while. I sure hope he's up to it!

Don't get me started. Everyone on here knows he's my favorite guy. I'm tired of hearing how he's so great in practice only to barely see him on the field. I see him having a Robo Meach type of season.

Warren, Hancock, and Jones along with our Freshmen will take care of business once the season starts.

I think Quinton is about to handle things this year for the Vols. He has raw natural talent and ability to be a big time player.

I was in a steak house in St. Augustine. The manager saw my UT gear and said, "You know Quinton Hancock?"

He then went on to say Quinton worked there at one point and was a great kid. Raved about him.

That being said I hope he has a great year.

I like to say Hancock will have a big year, but I'm on a wait-n-see approach for him. I kno he has potential and has shown that (Kentucky 07'), but i'm still not sold.

I've gotta wait to see both him and Warren on the field before I say anything about them. Hancock has proven to be a practice field wonder so far, and Warren has never played WR before so it'll be an adjustment.

If I recall, the coaches were saying alot of good things about warren at the WR position this offseason.

But yeah, i'd wait to see what the first game shows before saying anything too.

Heard this last year with Denarius Moore. He did have the 3 longest receptions, but only finished with 11 catches. Also heard last year preseason how it was imperative that Warren be eligible. He only had 10 catches. Let's hope CLK changes this trend. Of course, you need a QB who has time/ability to make it past his first read!
