How was he mishandled? He was lightly recruited, limited ability and many believe he got the starting job because he was dating gym coach Jones goddaughter. How are you mishandled if you're given the starting QB job simply because you date a big donors daughter who happens to be the head coach's goddaughter? Him being named opening day starter on opening day is what many believe fractured the locker room, a fracture that lasted into last year's Florida game.

He may have gotten the invite because Callaway, Jennings and Wood-Anderson need someone to throw to them at the pro-day. And while it's been a couple of years, at least they have some familarity with each other.

he had a rough year statistically last year 14td's to 9 picks on 294 attempts is rough. always gotta wish the real VFLs the best though and he was one . bro stuck through as much as could be expected.

Lightly recruited ? He had offers from Alabama, Texas and all major programs. He was not handed the job coz he was dating Jones Goddaughter. He waited for his turn for two years and won the job among 3 mediocre QBs in the competition (Him, JG and McBride). What data do you have to suggest that either of JG or Jimmy were better than him ? When JG finally got the start later in the season, he looked just awful and even worse than Dormady.
Yes, he did not live up to his recruiting billing but stop making BS arguments. That QB season was bad and two of the 3 guys in that season (JG and QD) were highly rated kids so blame has to go to mishandling and not developing QBs ? Doesn't it Einstein ?
