A recruit by the name of Quad Cosby, out of Texas, will be in Knoxville sometime this coming week for a mid-week visit. Cosby was a highly rated player coming out of high school in 2001(I believe thats the correct year). He was a top 40 player nationally by both Tom Lemming and Superprep. He is a WR/DB propsect......probably a CB. He decided to enter the baseball draft as a senior and was a 6th round pick of the Angels. He has been with the Single A Angels club ever since, but has decided to make a return to football.....very similar to the Kelley Washington situation. He is a big-time prospect and would be a great addition to the Vols. He is also considering Texas,Oklahoma, and one other school I believe.

You make sound as if we have no talent on the team.

Some guys won't ever be satisfied. We are ranked #1 in recruiting by almost every recruiting service.....but....oh well. What this coaching staff does with recruiting is nothing short of amazing and they should be recognized for their achievements. We live in a state that rarely has much high school talent. Yes, we lost Oher, but there were some unusual circumstances surrounding his recruitiment. Turner would be a real disappointment, but I don' think that one is over yet. We can't get everyone we want.

After out last experience with a player that waited before starting to play college football, I'm not so sure that we'd be better off if he chose someone else.

I'm with you. If THIS prospect shows up on ESPN bragging about himself, I say show him the door-QUICK. I STILL don't get the whole KW fiasco. I watched EVERY game that season and these folks who tout KW must have seen something I missed.

Please, no more KW ego's. He tricked Donte Stallworth into leaving so he could have all tte attention and then did not do hardly anything. All the while sitting on the sidelines, somewhow that ego found its way into C. Clausen and spawned anew. Similiar to a computer virus, it has taken the coaching staff a few years to totally remove it from the team. I like the current mentality and motivation of the Vols today.
