May be true but I actually saw a fellow UT fan (father ,mother,child) get spit at outside an Auburn game years ago, needless to say there was a little scuffle afterwards. Alabama fans are all talk, but they never shut up!

Been a few times to Bama. Never been able to go to Florida to speak from experience. Bama fans are annoying but all talk.

Florida is bad and so is Georgia and Bama. Florida is the worst in my opinion, but it could be just because they annoy me just being in the same room.

in my experiences it's been georgia. they are probably the sorest losers you'll find in the sec right now. bama used to be bad, but not as much anymore.

I've only been to this past Bama game so I would have to say them from experience. As some of you know I sat in the student section & as I was walking up to my seat everyone started booing me before I got near them & I looked over my shoulder to see the field for a second & saw a Bammer walking behind me, both arms in the air giving the finger....& I was wearing my jersey. I actually thought it was a bit funny.

Any fans that pelt the entire visitors section with cups and other things is obnoxious, i.e. Florida. I sat beside some Florida fans who were really nice back in '06, but overall, probably the Gators with bama close behind.

UGA wins my vote as well. Not only are they the sorest losers, they are the worst winners as well. They will do everything they can think of to let you know when they win.

UK basketball fans are the most delusional and obnoxious group I have ever come across, hands down.

so are you ranking them 1-3 or in reverse order?

The three times I've dealt with LSU fans have been extremely pleasant. Of course two of the times were with the older and/or major-donor friends of the university so they had a lot more class than the typical fan. I even have a standing invite to attend a tailgate the next time i'm in baton rouge, which would be my first for a game.

I guess it just depends on the experiences you have. Back in '91 I ran into two sets of Aub fans, one set we ragged each other but it was fun, the other set looked like they just crawled out of an episode of COPS and glared at us the whole time... it was kind of weird actually.

Florida, hands down for me. Gainesville is not only a sweltering, ugly, sandy, hell-hole, but the fans are extremely unwelcoming, often aggressive, and down-right rude.

Georgia is second, for me, but more of an obnoxious and stuck-up breed. Much more tolerable.

Alabama surprised me, this year. Quite tolerant of the opposition (us) and actually seemed to enjoy the fact that we were around.

Side note: have not been to Baton Rouge, but have heard some horror stories from night games.
