Oh geez.....you're really not staying THERE are you? Just kidding, it's OK, stayed there a few times on business, but that was a couple of years ago.Anyone staying here or ever stayed here I reserved my room here I hope it is not a dump I didn't want to give my leg neither. The most i know about this place is it close to the dome.

Rather than staying right next to the Georgia Dome, I would recommend staying in the Perimeter Mall/Dunwoody area, and then take MARTA into and out of the Dome. There are tons of nice hotels in the Dunwoody area, many of which within walking distance of the MARTA train station, and you'll get much more bang for your dollar.
what's wrong with Marta?
I'm not saying you haven't found a great deal, but you really need to do some research. It's a little odd that a hotel within walking distance of one of the largest convention/event complexes in the world is less than $80 on a weekend with a major sporting event going on.
After the 2004 Championship game, the traffic on MARTA was OUT OF CONTROL.
We waited for 45 minutes for a train, when we actually were able to get on it, it was slammed like Tokyo subways at rush hour.
We went 2 stations down the line, and the train broke down! We were forced to return to street level and fight for a taxi....not an easy thing.
Trust me...dont mess with MARTA on SECCG night.
I understand this is a 2 star hotel I am going to take my own liens just in case. I don't like paying a war pension for a hotel room ill only be in for a couple of hours but I didn't see any thing about it being in a bad neighborhood
I'll second this. GAVol, where did you go to school? State? Tech?I have no idea about the hotel, but having gone to school in Atlanta I can tell you that I wouldn't sleep in that area of town without a kevlar vest and an armed guard at my door.
