My wife wanted the Kinect, so I picked up the bundle at Wal-mart on Thursday night. It is only 4GB, so I need to add some more memory. What is the cheapest/most effective way to do this?

What are some good Xbox exclusives? I will be picking up Forza 4, is there any other must play games?

Is there anywhere that regularly discounts Xbox Live membership and Microsoft Points?

You can buy an old hdd and take it apart and it fits into the news one. That saves you song money.

When your Live subscription is about to run out they will offer you 3 months for $10 on your Dashboard.

Bioshock, Battlefield 3, Gunstringer

I was told the old hard drives don't fit in the newer "slim" models, and that one has to have/purchase a transfer cable (or w/e they call it)

I'd say dish out the $100 for the 250gb hd. If not, you can get a 16 gb flashdrive or you may be able to use a larger capacity external hd, but I'm not sure how reliable those options are.

I believe I've seen Dell sell the yearly subscriptions at a discount from time to time, but I've rarely found a deal outside of the Dashboard.

If you want recommendations, it would depend on what you like. I hate racing, so I'd never buy Forza, but I'm sure it's a great game.

Bioshock was absolutely amazing and is probably like $12

Unless you take the "old HDD" apart(the casing) and it fits. My friend did it. The HDD isn't the size of the full casing, it's way smaller and fits. The connector pieces (male/female) are the exact same.

A friend of mine has the 4gb model. He uses an external harddrive and just plugs it into the back of the Xbox and uses that as his storage. It will only use 16gb max, but it's a cheaper option if you don't need more space than that.

Yep. Don't ever renew your subscription until it actually expires. The dashboard will have some really good deals. I got 3mo for $10. Just make sure you have auto renewal turned off...which you have to call Xbox Support to do.

Yup, it works. You can even buy a casing online to put around the HDD to make it fit snug.

Console Ban if you play on XBOX Live.
