I was reading earlier about brent schaeffer it says he will have to stay at the junior college i guess its called till may of 06. Then it says he can pick a team of his choice to go to. Is that right and if so how does that work anyone know??

by the way i knew he was fast but i didnt know he could run a 4.37 wow whats vicks time??

I think Vick runs a 4.32 or something like that. Schaeffer is also a good player, extremely similar to Vick just not as well-developed. At least Vick looks for the pass every now and then, Schaeffer never seemed to do that.

yea do you have any i dea how that works with him picking the team he wants to go to?

Yeah. The deal was, he could transfer to any school that was not on UT's schedule for the remainder of his eligibility (so basically through 2008). But the NCAA rule for transfering between D-I schools is that you lose a year of eligibility. So he decided to play JUCO for a year, and I guess the deal with leaving UT was if he played JUCO, he can come back in the 2006 season and play for any team that would take him.

I'm pretty sure that's a relatively accurate depiction of the situation.
