What happened with Joe Young? I saw somewhere that he had sustained an injury and is being considered a "student coach" as he recovers from his injury, but when I look on UT Sports.com, he's not listed on the team roster. Forgive the ignorance...And GO VOLS!!!

The injury was considered career-ending.

I believe it has been confirmed he will no longer be able to play football due to some sort of spinal injury. I don't know the specifics of the injury though.
