Out of curiosity does anyone know how much it cost total when we go on the road for an away game? (Travel, food, hotel, shipping equipment, etc)

I'd be interested to know the other side of the ledger. What does TN get paid to play at another SEC school?

They don't get paid to play at another conference school. Home team keeps all the money from conference games. Same with home-and-home out of conference. Only time a team gets paid to play is when it's a single game or neutral site. The visiting team gets paid by the home team--like Akron, Georgia St., and Troy--or both teams get paid like UT-NCSt.

Makes sense - thanks. I've seen articles on what we've paid teams to come to Knox this year. Think it was $3.1M. Sorry to bust in on the original question OP.
