I've got a 51inch Samsung Plasma in our bonus room..
It currently has a cable box, PS3, and a Wii hooked up to it..

The Wii, is using standard RGB cables...The cable box and PS3 are using the 2 HDMI inputs...

The only other input is a USB port..
My son's asking for an Xbox one, so I was looking at how to add it, and was hoping there were 3 HDMI ports on the TV..So with only a USB port available would I be able to use the USB to hook up the Xbox one..

If not, what other suggestions does anyone have..

Thanks

Easy solution. Xbox One has an HDMI passthrough input where you can plug your cable box into it and actually watch TV through the XBone. Apparently you can even configure it such that you can operate the cable box using the XBone's voice commands, but I'm not 100% sure how it'll work.

You could also consider buying an hdmi adapter to add more inputs. I bought one from Amazon last year for like $15.

Thanks, Freak
If we end up getting him a 360 instead of the One, we'll go that route
Looks like the 360 will be on sale for $99 bucks, on Black Friday, and after looking at the games he wants they will run on a 360

Actually that's for dual displays. That won't work. I'll find the one I have.
