this is not a callout thread. i want your all's honest opinion on recruiting.

we are now 16th overall with the 4th best class in the SEC and the #1 class in the SEC East. it is also looking like we are going to finish VERY strong and have a shot at a top 10 class.

what do you make of Dooley's recruiting now?

Have fun boys.

Um, yes, this is a callout thread. If you were truly curious, why didn't you just message them?

Oh well, this ought to be interesting.

Dooley is doing better, but it still isn't NSD yet. All that matters is who actually signs with us.

Just my two cents.

IMO Dooley is a great recruiter and he has a good team of recruiters. It also has nothing to do with rankings or where this class finishes.

SGM's response: well Queefin's class is #5 despite sanctions. Lane Queefin>*

They will cite offer lists on some of the lower ranked guys & fight with that ammo til the death.

Dooley's done a great job selling a stale program that's on its 3rd coach in 3 years.

Not SGM or volwarrior33, but this question should be revisited after NSD.

Just my opinion.

+1, although I agree with the implied point. But where we are now, particularly relative to UF likely to change between now and NSD.

I concur. If we strike out on Wright, Dawson, Lane, Turene, and Orta then it isn't looking great. And God forbid what will happen to this board if Richardson/Clear don't come here.

I bet they'll use Probst, Crump, and Brewer as proof that Dooley can't recruit. Oh, what's that you say? They were meaningful contributors as freshmen? Hmm, well it won't stop SGM from calling them garbage 2 star players.

While UT has been down, don't sell the program short.

-Great facilities
-Amazing stadium
-Playing time (at the moment)
-Great tradition
-Good campus/academic school (not the best but still)
-Plays in the best conference

Just a few selling points.

I like Probst and think he'll be a good player, but it's not like those guys set the world on fire. Crump played Special Teams only and Probst played garbage time minutes. Waaaaaayyyyyy to early to see if they are worth their scholly's.
