Have yall heard of the Berkley Inn by campus? It looks like perhaps the cheapest hotel option...ever. However, they have rooms so screw it. Is it close to the stadium (i.e. stumbling distance)? What about night life and what not. Any places you would recommend? Sorry if that has been asked before, but it's been a while since I have posted. I am literally going to the opposite side of the globe for this game, just want to make the most of it. Thanks for your help, take care.

Most of what I have seen from the Cal folks recommends we not stay in Berkeley, but in SF, and take the BART in for the game...

I'm sure someone will offer more...there are so many Cal fans here after all that utfantilidie is being driven to drink.... more.
:p

That sounds good, i assume the BART is some kind of public trans...anyone know what time it stops runnin? Could be key to avoiding large cab fares.

Yeah there do seem to be a lot of Cal people, might as well pump them for info while we can :)

I would prefer that no pumping of Cal fans take place here.

I believe BART = Bay Area Rapid Transit.

If you haven't been to SF, I would definitely recommend staying there - absolutely beautiful city with tons of stuff to do.

cool sounds good, and you are right, "pumping" wasn't the best word to use there, perhaps "use them like puppets" See, not even that works
