Question about timing during last Saturday's game

While an injured Miss. State player was still on the field, the peeps who won some recycling thing were paraded out onto the field for pictures. I thought it was in incredibly poor taste to do it then. Is that the norm? There were three Miss. State fans sitting beside us and I admit I was embarrased. Or is the extent of the injury that determines whether they will do something like that?

I guess they only have a limited time to do these "honor" things and chose a "timeout" to squeeze one in. Not cool to do it during an injury though.

Yeah - I was like wow.. really? And they were standing about 10 feet from the injured player.
