Who gets the #1, #2, #3...etc. in the West depending on who wins today? I know if we beat LSU then we have to play the #2 seed.

ole miss will be the 2 seed if msu wins. a msu win gives them the 1 seed by way of division record. which to me means they win the west outright, but they say it'll be a co-championship. the sec should eliminate division co-champions in my opinion. it should go to whoever is the 1 seed in b-ball and whoever plays in the seccg in football.

Thanks for clearing that up. And I agree with the co-champ part

It's crazy. At this point, it looks like MSU is going to win the west with Bama getting the 4 seed and LSU getting the 6. I don't really like the opportunity to play Ole Miss in the 2nd round because of Kennedy and their momentum/need to win but I'd rather see them than Bama.

I kinda like playing teams that we lost to earlier in the year (Ole Miss 2nd rd.). Hard to beat a team multiple times in one year. That's one reason LSU worries me.

Plus, wasn't Ole Miss the first game w/out Lofton? I feel good about our chances against Ole Miss if we can survive against LSU.

I'm pretty sure they are. We had a big lead at the half and just fell apart. Plus it was at Ole Miss and we were still young. The problem is that Ole Miss is rolling and needs the SECC to get into the tourney. Of course, that can be said for most teams in the West. I just like our matchups with Ole Miss better than Bama.

Pearl has done well against teams after he has lost to them before. Also, the last game I wanted was an 8-8 Alabama team needing a win. Now, Bama's basically out.
