Since we flopped on Wright and Jernigan could he be moved to the d-line. We added a few more O-lineman in this class 2 go along with the beast we got last year and just wonderin if he could make the move if needed?:peace2:

He's too talented and has such a great body/frame for OT I just don't see them wasting him on the D-line. I don't think moving him to DL would even be such a great upgrade over the guys we have now.

I realized we missed on Dawson and Wright was a major disappointment but I'm happy with this class. We were good enough to hang with Oregon for one half until depth took its toll. We now have some depth at all the major positions. I'm ready for the O&W game!!!

if anyone got moved to DT it would be one of the others. Tiny has OL written all over him. by the way, did anyone see the video of his decision? My local news channels where i live is Nashville and it showed his announcement. He put an LSU cap on 1st....then smiled and took it off to put on the power T!!! freakin sweet!!:eek:lol::eek:lol::rock::rock:

i like this guy already!! Bray better get a bar stool to set on cause he's gonna have a freakin brick wall in front of him in a year or 2....i'm pumped

I've played against Antonio. Granted Ravenwood isn't oozing SEC talent up front, but the dude literally can move an entire Dline.

Will Richardson be an opening day starter in 2011?

I'm not forcasting anything... but it wouldn't suprise me if James moved to LT and Richardson took over at RT. Not a personal slight, but Thomas got showed whats up against top-tier DEs.

Yeah Thomas was quite honestly an embarrassment last year. I didn't really watch him until people started pointing it out and when I started watching him during games there were so many times the DE would just run right around him while barely getting touched.

I think best case scenario is having AR start after a few games. I'm not so sure he'll get the hang of SEC caliber play by the time the season starts.

Tiny has alot of work to do before he starts. It's way too early. He also needs a mean streak. If he gets coached up he will be really good. I watched several ensworth games the last few years...good potential. I look forward to seeing him progress into a man. GBO!!!

I agree. I bet Richardson starts from day 1. He is a road grader. Expect our running game to improve with James protecting the backside of our RB's.

I don't understand the d-line worries either. They just added a top tier new starter at 300 lbs in Couch at DT. You have Hughes/Walls in the other slot after another year of strength and conditioning. They have an All-SEC quality guy in Malik that can play DT or strong DE. With Smith, Miller, Bohanon and Martin on the outside (among others like Maggitt). DE is done. Then you have guys like Ayers, Carson, Saulsberry, etc. getting stronger. Who knows Jeffrey may even contribute.

Just think.... Richardson and Clear lined up next to each other! Some happy RB's! GBO!!!

Really look forward to seeing his progression. As great a talent as he is, he has a LONG way to go. Not bashing Tiny, he is a Beast, just a fact that all these guys need to mature and refine their craft while making the classroom grades. Its tough on a young man their freshman year. Don't put too much pressure on these kids too early, they need time and we need to give it to them.

according to sports talk in chatt. they said there might be some questions about Richardson being able to qualify. Also they were talking about the recruiting of Dawson to USC.Said he never took an OV and Kiffin never met with him or his family. They are thinking that something could come out of this.
