Question about kickoff

I say we elect to receive! If we can dial in a quick TD that might get them a little unsettled! GBO! Light their a$$ up Hooker!

I agree. I think they will defer.

Agreed, I think they defer. They will hope to shut us down and break our spirit early.

That said, either way, I think it works fine for us. Heupel has shown that he is pretty good at scoring at the end of halves, so if they take the ball, there is always the opportunity to get some cheap points before halftime, and then open with a score to start the second half. Our offense has been very good to start second halves, as well.

Always defer.
If I've learned anything playing Madden, it's to defer and attempt to manage the 1st half so I have the last possession and then get the 2nd half kick-off.

Elect to receive of course if they win the toss and defer.
Reminds me of a time coaching high school ball back in the day and we sent the wrong knucklehead out for the flip. Other team won the toss, deferred, and our guy told them we wanted to kick.
