Georgia and bama both showed major interest in this kid but they're not in a position to have to go after kids like this right now when they can get 4* and 5* kids to come there.
This is a GOOD prospect at 6'6" tall and 270 pounds who can easily add another 30+ pounds of muscle in our S&C program.
Every year there's LOTS of 4* and 5* kids that turn out to be complete BUSTS but people on here refuse to talk about that side of the coin because they'll never admit when they're totally WRONG about so many things.
You people better take a close look at how many Sophs and Freshmen we're still starting or playing lots of snaps especially on Defence because CDD has brought in some very good kids.
Go tell Stone, Thomas, Hunter, Patterson, Sentimore, McCullers, McNeil, AJ, Maggitt, Randolph and the other 10 to 12 players that will probably play in the NFL when they graduate that they're crap players and have no future in football, LOL!
This kid has great size at his age and great potential and NOBODY here knows how he'll end up after 4 Years as a Vol when he just might develope and turn into a 1st round draft pick.
The FACT is that's there's lots more 3* recruits now playing in the NFL then there are 4* and 5* kids in the NFL.
CDD and staff DO go after top recruits and I think I heard we had over 150 offers out this year but LOOK at our players dorm that's 40 years old and needs to be replaced and then look at the new apartment dorms other top programs have and guess where a kid would prefer to live for 4 or 5 years.
Look at how much totally useless horsecrap is stirred up constantly that all our coaches suck, can't coach and need to get fired yesterday and tell me how that makes any good recruit want to come to Tennessee.
Look back for 3 YEARS at how many people and how many times it was posted on here that Z Rod sucks, can't catch a cold, hands of stone, called horrid names and has been bashed and belittled to death here on VN and then tell me why any good recruit would want to come to Tennessee and play for people like most on here act.
You people are totally DELUSIONAL and out of your minds if you think that recruits and their parents don't come here to VN to read up and try to learn more things about our program and what SO-CALLED fans are saying.
This happens to be the INTERNET AGE folks and kids and their parents have lots of time to roam around and check out every site on every school that's shown any interest at all in them and their kid.
Kids and their parents don't have to come here to VN and spend 5 hours to see real fast what's said most of the time about our program, coaches, finances, ect, ect or to find threads that totally RIP our own players to shreads with total crap, lies and immature name calling and hate for that kid that's busting his butt trying to learn and get better.
I love Tennessee and I bleed Orange but I would NOT let my kid play for Tennessee even if they offered $10,000. a month in cash payed all in advance before he signed the LOI on National Signing Day the way people around here would treat my son.
Saying the same hate filled crap over and over 10 Million times on 5,000 different threads will NOT change anything but it damn sure CAN hurt our current players and our recruiting efforts.
