While it is obviously not fair to stereotype all homeless people as lazy... let's not act like its not a characteristic of many of them. Because it is. As mentioned, some cannot help it... But MANY can.

If you do the research, a big percentage of folks that are homeless have treatable mental illness, but no insurance, family support, etc. non-functional as part of society. No longer able to live in a mental institution due to insurance control of healthcare. Imagine if that was the way people with cancer were treated? I am very much a conservative, but sometimes extended government help is warranted.

When I was in residency training, some of our most compliant patients in the wound care clinic were the homeless. They were never late for their appointments. It helped that the physicians and staff treated them like everyone else.

Until you walk in someone's shoes, statements made by people like fade route are my definition of predjudice. To judge without knowledge...

Was just wondering where you have been fade.

Then you post something that flat out ignorant. Please go back where ever you were if that is all you have to contribute.

Agreed, just an asinine statement. His "5* drivel" in his avatar says it all.
