So, we have now lost one of our best recruiters in Elder.

I say we really can't afford to lose another top recruiter during this cycle until we get a strong replacement.

Everybody knows we are an up and coming program now!

Should be much easier to hire good coaches than it was 3 years ago when we sucked! JMO :good!:

It's funny... People were slamming the staff in Sept

The "I told you so" guys are great. Thank you Mr. I Told You So. Everyone now knows you have the crystal ball. Why don't you go ahead and predict Elder's replacement. Will we win the East next year? Will Reeves-Maybin leave? Come on man...tell us so.

Edit...hahaha. I'm laughing bc you said it's funny.

Exactly...

It always amazes me how people can't fathom how anyone else can possibly coach football as well as the people currently on staff. Not to minimize the job they do, but it's football; not brain surgery.

The better you get the more other schools want your assistants. I'm sure Butch will find a suitable replacement.

The top of the ship doesn't have a job if it weren't those down below.
while there is truth to that. Everyone must preform well to have the ball rolling in the right direction.

Those people do not have jobs here if the man himself didn't hire them.

We've only had one coach leave in three years. That's pretty amazing. With our ST play, it's not surprising that we'd lose Elder. Good for him. Maybe good for us.

So far, CBJ has always hired from his own coaching tree, so I'm sure he's already thought about guys he would like to bring on staff. I doubt we'll make a splash hire or get the best available at any position, but at least, we'll have an easy transition. It's possible-- even likely-- that we'll lose a couple more coaches this year, so change is coming. Would be nice to get through the bowl game without too much turnover, though.

I wouldn't quarantine them because, as far as I know, they don't have any communicable diseases.
But it might be a good idea to sequester them behind the fortress walls till this poaching madness is over.

Lol...sequester was actually the word I was thinking of....although, if it would keep other schools away maybe quarantine works better.
