Quantum of Solace

I loved the bourne game. It was just too short and needed some online coop thing or something. But overall, Bourne was a good one. A renter for sure.

I've got a couple hours into this one and it's a pretty good game. The presentation value is really high and voice acting is great. Graphics so far have been pretty solid and very colorful, which is somewhat of an oddity nowdays. It plays sort of like a fast paced first person shooter with some quick-time elements (like Bourne) thrown in for some special moves and quick takedowns. The cover system moves you into a 3rd person view. Nice use of the CoD4 engine.

I would imagine it follows the movie fairly closely so you might want to wait if that bothers you.

So far, I gotta say it's a solid game.

I'm half way through now. Man, this game is a lot of fun. It's got a lot of similarities to Bourne which I really liked. Playing on medium difficulty and it appears it will be about 7-10 hours to beat it. There's checkpoints after every little section, so it's really not that difficult of a game. Die and you only go back to the beginning of the current little section you're on. This doesn't bother me since I don't like playing the same thing over and over to get through.

Graphics are still pretty darn good and colorful. Voice acting is great. If you liked Bourne but thought it needed a bit more action, you're going to love this game.

Rented this one today for some filler till GOW2. It is on my gamefly but who knows when that will get here. I hope it lives up to the hype.

I think my 7-10 hours was overestimating things. You'll probably finish the single player quicker than that once you get the hang of things.

So far QOS is a good game. I have not tried to multiplayer yet but it looks a lot like COD4. I am glad that I rented as I hated the COD4 multiplayer, but the single player is a ton of fun.

Truly a great game, thanks to all for the recommendations on it. How is the online? I rented it, but may buy it if the multiplayer is good.

There was a rumor of it coming to XBL Arcade, but I guess it's been shot down by now. I'm on the last level on Quantum of Solace. Overall a very solid game. There are a couple of cheesy levels, but not bad for the most part.

I took mine back to blockbuster already, but I had fun with it though. If the MP is anything like the SP then MP could be very interesting.

Havent tried the MP yet..figured most folks are playing Cod and/or Gow anyway.

Finished it up last night..I liked it.
