Well yea he needs to go obviously. He was Heupel’s best man in his wedding and buddy so i doubt that ever happens. Similar to how Will Friend was paired up with Pruitt

If he hitches to that wagon then....

The change has to be made to turn corner. Or a massive NIL investment into portal. Theyve done a hell of a job on trail and have laid the foundation, made changes necessary to win. Now we need elite coaches on offense. Same goes foe Halzle. Issue is we cycle off and recruit reactively. By time we invest in OL, we lose 5 Receivers.

Happened to OL last off season. Two starters and three depth pieces.

You hit the nail on the head on how it is right now and how i feel. Look we should forever be grateful for Heupel stabilizing the program and the **** show that he walked into when nobody wanted the job. He made us relevant but you also have to wonder has he peaked here in 2022 and 2024 and the best is behind him. This is year six now and we are seeing the same issues with him alot of penalties , bad oline play, i’m not sure either that Heupel can coach up a true freshman QB he has had the most success with experienced portal guys , Hooker , Milton , Aguilar. Now we are stating to lose big SEC games at home and if we don’t win today things could start to get ugly this season. If he is unable to make more needed changes like getting rid of Ellerbee and Hazel and defer his play calling to another OC then we need to part ways with him. It looks like the rest of the SEC has caught up to his offense as well he isn’t as creative or fast tempo as he was in 21 and 22 seasons or maybe that was all Golesh and Hooker. I try to live in the moment yes the 22 season was awesome the win over Bama LSU starting 8-0 and ranked 1 for a week but it was also was 4 years ago. Heupel bought himself alot of time with two wins over Bama and three over Florida. Personally i don’t think Heupel is that good of a coach i wouid love to have Clark Lea or Sumerall over Heupel.

if you dont think he's that good, I promise you there are 132 other teams that do. i'm not arguing, all i'll say is he's shown he wants to win.

this is his first major p4 program. you better be careful what you wish for, oklahoma may have a vacancy

Yea….a real S&C coach would have absolutely prevented concussions. Wtf are we doing with this rec league strength guy…..
