I didn’t “botch” any definition. Let me see if I can further explain and maybe you’ll understand. (No sarcasm)
A single party plan is nothing more than a plan. The difference between 1st and 2nd degree murder for example is simply that plan to carry it out. A single person that plans it first is charged with 1st degree murder ONLY. A murderer that didn’t plan it but DID intend to kill in the heat of the moment is charged with 2nd degree. 3rd degree is “oops, I didn’t mean to kill him”. That’s why there are 3 different stages.
That being said when two or more people plan a murder and carry it out as planned they both get charged with murder AND conspiracy to commit. That’s why most gang members are charged with conspiracy as well in drive by shootings. Do you see the difference now?
Obviously we’re talking on a much smaller scale than murder but there can’t be a “conspiracy” without a second or more person involved in the same plan. So no.... I didn’t “botch” the definition. I had to learn what conspiracy is without a doubt and what we’re talking about does not fall in that category.
Now let’s talk some FOOTBALL
You can conspire with someone, meaning you team up with another person to plot against someone else, OR you can conspire against someone. This means you devise a scheme to do that person harm.
Now talk football without intimating that others are in cahoots against your boy...whenever you’re ready.
