I'm not being sarcastic or a smart aleck... but what makes you think the 4th string QB will be the first one off the bench. Bailey looks like a talented guy. But he was hurt by the lack of a spring and then he missed a lot of time this fall. Shrout entered the first game as #2 by most reports but that was in part due to Maurer having a hamstring injury.

If UGA "eats" Jarrett up... then you are most likely to see Maurer IMO due to his success last year.

Truth is if JG is getting “eaten up” then I’m sure that’s bad news because it’s unlikely that the staff took the time to prepare anyone else.

They have so been prepared as well as they can be. The coaches know who is making the proper reads and executing the play properly. Based on what I've heard the coaches are not satisfied with the others play over JG. And outside of errant throws here and there JG is executing the plays and making the proper reads. He's the best option we have but isn't ideal.

Yesterday on The Drive they mentioned that Harrison didn't travel with the team to Georgia. No idea if that's correct or not, but that's what I heard them say.
