Just wondering if anyone has heard what the quarterback situation will be in the sec title game. most people are saying that clausen will get the start with schaffer getting some time in the game. just wonderin if anybody has heard any different. and if anyone knows how much playing time schaffer would get. i'm hopin schaffer will start but i think clausen could do ok.

I figured we would pull out all the stops. And from the accounts I heard of Ainge's trip back home, I asked some of his friends (he was staying out in the boonies to avoid being crowded) how he was looking, he should be okay by now. I suppose Fulmer would want to keep that under wraps, but this is flat-out, the biggest game UT will have this year. I figured the return of Ainge/Schaeffer would be a huge deal and really throw Auburn, and keep them from getting out on top which is what we need to prevent.

Reports on the post-game show said Schaeffer would be back, but Ainge would not. 'Course, who knows, maybe we have some surprises up our sleves?

You know, we did run the double-pass on Saturday. . . .

Unless I miss my guess, Auburn is going to work real hard on playing against Clausen. They are gonna bring the house in an attempt to rattle him.

Now, Imaginre their surprise when they get to the QB and its Schaffer running by them on his way to a 15 yard romp.

I like it :D

Doesnt have to be on every play like that. But just enough to take them out of whatever defensive scheme they have and allow Clausen some time (who wont be scampering anywhere for a 15 yard romp...he runs like his brother).
