QB for 2010...who do you hope we sign?

in February on NSD?

I hope we get Brunetti and Rettig to decommit and sign with us. I think/hope we have a good chance for Brunetti because he is from Tn. and Markeith is already working on getting him here...

Paul Jones. He's the one prospect where you give up nothing (arm strength, Pro-Style QB, height, speed/athleticism, etc)...even better prospect than Scroggins.

Turner Baty? I hope we pull Paul Jones from Penn State. Who wants to play for one of the oldest coaches in football over one of the youngest coaches in football? Paul Jones, you know you want to come to UT!

I like Jones as well and Brunetti and maybe even Bray...As far as Rettig goes, I hope everytime he has ice hanging off his facemask and his teams are going 5-6 in the ACC I hope he regrets every single day that he blew his chance to be part of this incredible family at Tennessee.

I agree Paul Jones would be great and he might be someone we could turn. In regards to Turner Baty it would be nice to have him and Coach Gran recruiting Flordia for us.

I hope we pull in Simms from Alabama. We already stole their recruiter why not their recruits. I would love to stick it to Saban and Bama Nation!!

Then whip Scroggins in the National Championship in 2011 or 2012 if he ever sees the field.

Bama can keep Sims. I'm not just saying he's overrated because he's a Bammer, but he's just overrated

Not to big of a Brunetti fan for some reason....I think it's his height....Going to have to pick Jake Heaps or Cam Newton

Yes Baty. He's going to play against the best talent possibly in the country. If he puts up the numbers, he'll be closest to being ready to start in the SEC.

Paul Jones is a PA resident committed to Penn State. I live right down the road from Penn State. I think you misunderstand the allure that PSU has to instate residents/prospects. if youre a Penn Stater in Pa, your status is just shy of a disciple of Jesus himself. dont think that the name "UT" will be enough to get him to decommit. Pitt is an after thought, and we are in the heart of the Big10. the folks around here honeslty believe that the Big 10 is the greatest place to play football. funny, right?

have we even offered him?

Im gonna be realistic here and hope and think we get Barry Brunetti just don't see him going anywhere else here are some good reason's that I think we land him!
1 He's from tennessee.....duh
2 Ambles,JSmith and kiffin will be workin hard and recruiting the heck outa him IMO
3 The competion level at QB now that Scroggins and Rettig have commited elsewhere
4 It's Lane kiffin...duh
5 Its UUUUUTTTTTT!!!

Those opinions can help for any recruit but I say it makes a big impact on Barry and he's gonna feel a lot of pressure to decommit from WVU from not just us but a lot of other program's that are in need of a QB sence all the other top notch QB's are almost all commited else where! JMO!

Brunetti as there's really no realistic shot at any other QB that is clearly seperated from him. I think it would be very good for the program if a Memphis QB could come in and do some good things.

If not Brunetti then other possible QBs who might change commitments: Rettig, Rees, Jones, Simms, any of these would be a good get.

If you're talking about Blake Sims, he would be a WR at Tenn. It would give us an option at qb if the situation got really bad.

I'd say pass on Brunetti due to his size, hold out til 2011 and get a great qb.
