Purdue hires Ryan Walters

Not a flashy hire but definitely a very solid one. Walters in just a few years too Illinois defense from one of the worst in the countrty to one of the best. He better get a good offensive coordinator but he’s only like 36.

If I were the Purdue AD i think i would have hired Toledo head coach Jason Candle.

Walters was Illini's DC, was named top coordinator in college football this season. Boilers have also hired former Texas Tech gunslinger Graham Harrell as their new OC.
