Here is an interesting statement that is kinda in PS favor I think...

As a result, she says, the PlayStation Network has 14 million registered accounts globally — 6.5 million of which are in North America. Microsoft also has 14 million active subscribers to Xbox Live — interesting when you consider that the company has sold significantly more 360s than Sony has PS3s.

do you think it's bc you have to pay for xbox live?

Of course but I honestly I wouldn't be surprised if PS eventually has a fee or they charge for home. Still though for a little over $4 a month thats a weak point, and right now that's the ONLY thing that is PSer throw out. However PS will have a leg to stand on if Home lives up to it's promising...

Can you imagine how many hours of developing time has went into Home? If it's free then kudos to PS.

"Free of Charge"

However they will be charging for all the extras. What would be neat though is have achievements similar to the 360 that gave you extras.

I think the main reason PSNetwork has so many 'users' is the fact that it is free of charge.

from the video it seems kind of like this SecondLife thing Pc's have, only for a game console. A little intriguing, but ultimately I'm on the gaming console to play the games.

I guess I'm different in that sense. I do use the other features of the 360, and I'm loving the NetFlix partnership. I can't wait to try out the Home for PS3 though. To me it seems interesting.

Home looks like garbage to me for kids and teens. I doubt I'll ever use it beyound a 15 minute tour when it comes out....wait, make that IF it ever comes out.

How does that work? I saw it on there the other day after I downloaded the update. It said something about streaming movies live on the Xbox, but I didn't really pursue it any further because I was checking all the new stuff out. Is the selection of titles good, or is it pretty limited?
