PS3 wont stay signed in to PS3 Network

I keep gettin error number 8002ad23.....My ps3 in pickin up my wireless connection and i can get on the internet and stuff on it but i cant stay signed in to ps3 netowrkd to update my games.....what shud i do

A google search found on ps3forums.com

I know a way to fix the 8002AD23 error code problem.

Most likely you have your router connected to your modem, and a PC connected wired/wireless, and the ps3 connected wired/wireless.


1. First of all, you need to start your ps3 system. Go to your network settings and select information. Write down your IP, Subnet mask, Standard Gateway, and the primary DNS.

2. Start your PC and go to your networks settings. Right click your network adapter, click properties. Select "Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Click properties and type in manually the IP adress, Subnet mask, Standard gateway and DNS. (You can find that information on your PS3 as I told you)

Then you click "Advanced" and then you click "WINS" then "Activate NetBIOS over TCP/IP". Save your settings and connect the ps3 to your network (Doesn't matter if you do it wired or wirelessy).

Others indicated that they changed router firmware to fix the problem.
