Just curious. I a PS2 that I mostly play driving games on (NASCAR, GT4).

Will they work on a PS3?

Will my Logitech Driving Force Wheel work (the description for GT5 Prologue said it was combatible).

Thanks

30/60gig model plays all PS2 games. 80 gig model plays most. 40 gig model does not play any. All play PS1 games. (double check this, but I think it's accurate)

Wheel should work fine.

I know the 80 gig is compatible with most all, but the 40 gig is not compatable at all. That said, the 20 gig and 60 gig are comaptible with many. There is a spot on Sony's website that you can put in titles and the system you have and it will tell you if the game is compatable or not. I know for a fact GT4 works on the 80 gig. If your wheel plugs in with a PS2 cable, you will have to buy an adaptor as all the PS3 controllers use a usb port plug. I think they are aboput $15.

Are all the PS3's ready for wireless...or do you have to buy the lil antenna like the 360?

My PS3 60 gig came wireless ready but do not recommend. I stayed connected to PS3 network just got kicked out of game servers. If I was going to do it I would hardwire not wireless. Havent been on since.

20 gig model does not have wireless. All other do.

First round of 60gig models had a single antenna setup and didn't work all that well in many cases.

New models have a 2 antenna setup inside and the wireless performance is better.

What are first round models? I got mine about 7 months ago.

Nope. I was playing poker online most nights this week. Haven't had a chance to turn either console on. Might get back into AC tomorrow or Sunday.

Who has a PS3 and plays online wireless? If so have you ever had any problems getting kicked out of servers? I did, when I first got it worked good for about 2 months then started getting kicked out of servers the 2 games it was happening was Nascar08 and NCAA football 08. I couldnt get any help out of sony or linksys so I gave up and havent played online since.

I use wireless on mine but have yet to play a game. However I keep getting IP conflicts which I plan on fixing tonight. My laptop and PS3 keep butting heads.

I kept getting the run-around from both sony and linksys blaiming each other for the problem. Linksys was the only one that really wanted to help. They had me config my router everyway possible with no luck. This went on for about 2 weeks with linksys on the phone twice a day and I finally gave up.

I have lost connection a couple of times while playing and once while surfing the net, but nothing major at all. It could be your router maybe?

i have the 80 gig ps3, bought it 2 months ago, and the wireless has been flawless in downloads and during online play.

as for ps2 games. i've yet to have found one that isn't compatable though some (like ncaa football) don't look great. god of war looks amazing though.
