I know I got one and so did Dr. RosenRosen. Anyone else make it down? The EB Games I went to was getting 14 units.

Loved getting the first one taking care of so easily. I stood there about 3 hours talking to a couple buddies and was 4th in line. I'm hoping to have 3 or 4 more when they launch for some good money in my pocket. If I can pay off mine, a couple games, and have a little leftover, I'll be a happy man.

I hope the Wii is cool. I've already ordered one at Amazon. Not sure if I'll keep it. I'm doubtfull it will be enough for me given their last couple of consoles and game selection, but you never know. I'm optimistic...but it will be the last time for Nintendo, for me, if I'm not all that happy with it.

At least you know Nintendo will make worthwhile games... Zelda, Mario and Metroid games are always great.

ps3 is too expensive, even for the base model. PS3 games are going to be high dollar too. I'll most likely get a Wii or maybe a 360 (for Halo 3) once their prices drop.

PS3 and 360 games rea both $59.99 for the most part. First party games are $49.99.

XBox 360 and PS3 aren't too far apart in price... Getting all the extra stuff to bring the 360 to the same level as PS3's premium package makes it not too far off. And, like the good doctor said, both systems have games at the same price.

You can usually get an XBox 360's cheaper(-$100 and more) on Ebay. Doubtful you will be able to do that for a while with PS3. Wii would be good to hold you over until the prices start to drop a little with the other 2.
