More expensive has HMDI, WiFi, and a 60g drive instead of 20g.

I don't think it's 100% clear yet if you can play BluRay movies in high def with the $499 model (I don't think so).

Also, no dual HMDI slots and some ethernet ports removed.

Have fun trying to score one if you're interested. They will be MUCH harder to come by than the 360 was.

You have a cheap computer

I don't care. I will be getting one. I might go by GameStop within the next week to preorder one.

i am going to be fine w/ my 360.
Save your money and buy a computer with a game pad. You'll get all the same games, but on an actual PC instead of a pretend one.

I have a 360 to and play it a lot... But I'm still a PlayStation man at heart. So I will slam that gender-confused machine all I want.

Yeah, well you won't have Halo 3!
Why not? I have an XBox 360 and I ain't broke. And it doesn't mean Halo isn't a great game. It's just one of the few XBox has had.

Educate me:

Exactly what benefit will the 60g drive give me as far as the gaming experience goes?

i have to give the gaming edge to 360. its a lot less kid friendly but its perfect for teens and up.

I have to disagree with that since Sony has a whole lot more contracts with gaming companies than Microsoft.

I'll agree with you if you're comparing Microsoft and Nintendo... But vs. Sony? Metal Gear Solid, God Of War, Devil May Cry. There are three great, great series exclusive to PlayStation 2 that are very mature in nature. Not to mention a grip more. The only reason you could say PlayStation 2 is aimed at younger kids is because it actually does have a big collection of games aimed at young'ns in addition to the library of great titles aimed at adults, which is still bigger than XBox's.

WOW..that will prolly push the avg gamer like myself out of the picture...too much $$$

The price will eventually come down I guess. You could always just steal one from a drunken friends house. :post-20645-1119625378:

Looks like I'll have to use the kids as an excuse again.

You've sunken to a new low, NC. :shakehead:

First posing as a Gator fan while on a Tennessee board and now using your kids to steal an XBox 360?

:D
