PS3 from Saint Nick

So I went and got a PS3 for my son and maybe me. I got the Black Friday deal at Gamestop. It came with "Little Big Planet" which is one of the games he was wishing for. I killed two birds with one stone there. It also came with "God of War 1" and "God of War 2". I know the "God of War games will not be age appropriate for a 7yo boy and a 9yo girl. Are these games any good? What other age appropriate games can any of you recommend? Thanks.

The God of War games are definitely not appropriate for children. I've only played the first one and it was a good game I suppose. It's a hack n slash button masher game so if you enjoy those type of games you'll like it.

I recommend Ratchet & Clank, kids love it. The Lego games always seem to draw the kids attention.

Thanks. I was curious about Ratchet & Clank. What about Mod Racers? Has anyone played it? Is it any good? Would it be fun for kids that LOVE Mario Kart?

Little Big Planet is amazing!! That game is incredibly fun and addicting!! Totally appropriate for kids and supports up to 4 player co-op either online or together! With all of the user created levels available (and there are some AMAZING levels) you will never have to play the same level twice.....ever!! There are literally over a million user created levels along with the ones that come with the game!!
