Got my son a PS VR recently and I'm hooked. There are some great titles like Astrobot, Blood and Truth and Resident Evil but hands down, the best gaming experience I've ever had is playing Skyrim in VR.

I already loved Skyrim years ago when it came out for PS3 but being in the game takes it to another level. It transitioned amazingly well and I'm glad they didn't have to dumb it down.

Also really excited to get the Iron Man game in February. It looks fantastic. Any other VR enthusiasts?(game discussion, not porn)

I dont own one but I'm a big believer in the future of VR. I will probably jump on board with PSVR 2.0.

The price point I got of $199 with 5 games made it a good value and it is the 2nd gen headset. Had a mixup on the vouchers and I ended up having to trade it out for a different bundle that had the move controllers...worked out to getting shorted 1 game but saved the $100 cost of the controllers.

I agree on VR having a bright future. Develpers are starting to make more full length games and Sony was smart to announce it will be forward compatible with PS5.

Oculus Rift and HTC Vive may be a better overall experience but at less than half the price with the PlayStation library I think the PS VR is the best value

I'm cautiously optimistic, if it's a 2021 release I will probably pull the trigger shortly after release. If it releases same time as PS5 I'll probably wait so I'm not dropping over a grand on video games all at once!

Got Resident Evil last night for the wife and man it's intense. Never been creeped out by a video game before like that.

I remember thinking that the P.T. demo would be almost unbearably scary in VR when I first played it. I don't have any issue playing horror games on normal TVs/monitors but playing one in VR would be too much for me.

My wife got a free Samsung VR headset a few years ago when she got her Galaxy phone, and one of the included games was more suspenseful than horror and it still freaked me out.
