its great to have former Alabama players that agree with me, throughout this whole off season that Smart can’t beat Pruitt.

Pruitt may not lose to Kirby but he doesn't have the talent on Defense in my opinion to be putting in bets like that.

Kirby came in with a stacked roster and added a crazy recruiting class on top. We need to get back to top 5 recruiting classes with his kind of players for his system. We have a couple but not a whole roster like UGA and Bama. Give him time.

First season should get some kind of pass.. The Smart/Pruitt argument won't have merit for another season or two. One of Alabama's interns beat Smart. Then the next year, they played for a natty. Those wanting instant gratification with Pruitt are delusional. He could be great, but needs time.

Year 1 isn't fair to judge, heck Jones beat Smart in his first season. I feel good about Pruitts ability to hold his own with all of them once we catch them or get close in talent. I think we will find a way to win 7 or 8 this year, it won't be easy but I think this team will improve as we go. GBO!

The man lost to Butch, he almost lost to Nicholls St. Everyone was down last year. He's got the talent, but as a coach, i think he's overrated

Not so fast my friend. Remember how we've been playing football around here lately. This could be the pinnacle of the FB calendar.

I think Pruitt could be a better coach than Smart but Smart is sitting in the best recruiting location. The Ga kids want to play for Ga. We won’t get the best players from Ga until we consistently beat Ga.

Pruitt needs to find a way to beat Smart with less talent to get the upper hand in recruiting. Then steal the best talent from GA.

What happens when Saban retires? Who gets the talent from AL? It needs to be us, but it will be Smart unless we get the upper hand.

I am not worried about Nicks replacement. He will loose a few games and get run out of town. Bama fans are spoiled.
