the only knock i've heard about pruitt is that he's no yes man, so much so, it's gotten him in trouble at times.

he has a clear vision, and if he perceives that someone isn't on the same page, he's not been scared to mention it. looudly. in public.

i think Phil can help him with that kind of stuff. you can get away with that to a ceratin degree when you're insulated by the kind of head coaches he's worked for.

it's all together different when you're the head guy.

i think if it's done right, this is a good marriage. and i credit Fulmer for going and getting someone that is "different" than what many of us expected him to go get.

Big plus for me. Hopefully he'll use that quality to tell Haslam; I'll run the team, you write the checks...

In the past few years we have had some good public speakers, but crappy football coaches. Doesn't bother me how he speaks, or that hes from Alabama. but I love his passion for Tennessee and our players. I sincerely think we have found a winner.

I'm curious as to who you considered to be a good public speaker?
