I did not know what to expect when SCAR came to Neyland in 2019 and was really surprised we beat them that bad in all honesty because WM had our number in all the prior games. I feel we have the better roster even with the losses at WR. It is obvious after last year Muschamp’s program is going in the wrong direction and 2020 will probably be another bad season for SC. Vols win by 10 IMO.

Pruitt matches and trumps Muschamp's skillset. Our skill players, special teams, and offense are better too. So I give the advantage to Pruitt for the next two seasons. Muschamp peaked years ago. He does not attract top tier people with his reputation alone. He is an elite defensive coordinator, but mediocre head coach. The matchup between him and Butch's system helped Muschamp teams win games when they were outplayed too many times. Pruitt's style of coaching and team building really limit Muschamp's advantages.

Lord, maybe it is a sin to pray about football, but you know me to be a sinner from our previous conversations. Lord, please let Pruitt's Tennessee Volunteers teams consistently defeat any team coached by Muschamp. Yeah, it's likely this isn't a fitting prayer. Shucks, I can think of a passel of preachers who would tell me so. Still, Lord, receive and heed my prayer. Grant beneficent fortune to Coach Pruitt in contests between his teams and those coached by Muschamp. Humbly, I beseech you. Amen.

....Unless for some reason known only to you, Muschamp becomes our coach....

You know why.

this board will blow up with “he ain’t the guy” threads and Grumors will start up about Jon being tired of living with hippies in California that are following him out to Nevada
This board “blows up” over toilet paper shortages. You know this...as our official historian. 😏

It’s usually the same posters who holler for the coaches to be fired.

If Pruitt were to be let go after this season, a disaster is just waiting to happen.

I didn't know Coach Pruitt and Muschamp had ever fought. Or did you mean can the current Vol football team defeat the current Gamecocks football team? Sure; Why not?

We had some bad screw ups against SCAR last year but the team didn’t quit and special teams ended up being the difference. Don’t forget they opened with a 75 yd TD pass and they scored a TD a few seconds before half time. Defense has to stop the big play and hold their 2 minute offense to a FG at worst.
