Don't even get me started on Fulmer ball, you know the playing not to loose crap. Hey we're up 7 in the 1st quarter, let's run the clock out and go home. And anyone with half a brain can't blame Randy Sanders or Dave Clawson fully. Yeah they suck. But it was the same predictable conservative offense. They didn't have full control, Fulmer ran the show. Then we gave the guy MILLIONS as a parting gift and now he slimeballed his way to the AD. What's his name shoulda been gone after that Greg Schiano horse shlt but shouldn't have even been hired in the first place. Blackburn was our best option imo. But as long as we have that slimy oil peddling family pulling the strings we will have to endure this shlt show. The product on the field is second behind revenue and it's been that way for years.

Might as well stop all the fire Pruitt crap. He's here for at least 3 more years barring some scandal. Maybe things can get better? Idk. After seeing a coaching staff quit at halftime during that game, my hopes aren't high. I won't disagree with most however. This is one of the worst coached teams I've seen in a while. Especially Helton. Does he think it's an NCAA rule to run the ball up the gut on first and second downs. Anyway....

At least in the Fulmer era, we were consistently in the top 25, if not top 10, most every week. In the Fulmer era, REAL rivalries existed with game outcomes being a tossup every year and Tennessee was truly a "football" school. I believe Coach Fulmer was the coach in 1998, too. At least during the Fulmer era, respect was earned and respect was given. I'm not saying I'd take CPF back as head coach. That ship has sailed. But I just don't get the hatred for a man who did so much for our program and gave us a product to be proud of. This is not intended to "call you out" VFL9889. I know no coach is perfect, but I'd say before his firing, CPF did a lot more good than harm. I can't say that about the ones who came after him.

I didn't expect the nauseating coachspeak that Pruiitt regurgitates after embarrassing beatdowns like this. I expected a super disappointed coach who would bring some fire...and dare i say "outrage" after humiliating losses like this. But no...it's just the same old blahblahblaha...."we gotta get better and that's on me" BS. I see ZERO indication we are any better off with Pruitt...in fact after today....I fear we may be waaay WORSE off.

I completely disagree with your take on his interview. We knew this would be a hard road. He pleaded when hired this would take everyone pulling together. We are going to take some thumps. His best quote is who we are competing with...it's not our opponents--it's the person in the mirror. We sabotaged ourselves last night and he knows it. This guy is a coach and he's not going to polish that turd last night: Just let him get his players. If Pruitt can get a roster close to the 15-16' roster talent we will be be going to ATL.

And who the hell are we going to get in his place? Most coaches weren't knocking on our door to come here in the first place as they knew the s#!*storm they'd be walking into. Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy told us thanks, but no thanks even after we offered to pay him a couple of million more than he is making in Stillwater. Do you really think that we could get someone else to come here with this hot mess? I don't think so.

Pruitt coached championship defenses, Butch lost to Dooley and then replaced him. If he can't back up his talk he'll get canned just like the others, but 4 games into the first season? Brutal.
