Pruitt Post Game

He just said to play at a high level in this league you had to have practice habits that the older players have and that the younger players don't. Said they aren't earning playing time in practice. He said this after being asked about Maurer playing.

We are lost at all levels from AD to water boys.

There are reports that a group of upperclassmen are not working hard in practice, are bitching at coaches, make lame excuses to get out of practice, just bad teammates right now. Need to be kicked off.
Pruitt is going to ruin the young talent he has and his constant harping on Geronimo's great practice habits show he has no feel for recognizing the game players , just like insisting on playing Worley when Dobbs showed himself to be the gamer a few years back. Geronimo can't handle the big games.

Do you effing morons think for one minute your next savior will do better? Keep living the dream.

This game had the feel of a glorified scrimmage. The objective didn't seem to be to win the game. I saw too many questionable calls to belive otherwise. It's as if they just wanted to get to the bye week and regroup. How this team finishes this year should determine how hot Pruitt's seat is next year, extension be dammed. I wouldn't mind if Tee took over play calling duties as well. That game was one of the most poorly called I've seen on the offensive side in a long time. And on a side note, this covid off-season didn't stop L.S.U. from playing their true freshman qb, so at this point in the season, it's not an excuse to not have Bailey ready

He's not a BSer, he's just a jumped up DB coach who lucked into other coaches' recruiting a player development as a DC at Georgia and Alabama, and parlayed that into a HC gig at UT that will see him set for life.

Hats off to to him, he achieved the America Dream, but that still won't change the fact that he'll be back on Alabama's staff as a DC or lower come 2023.

The college football landscape is wonderful isn't it. Schools pay coaches millions of dollars for subpar results. Only a handful of coaches every year pan out. The system will continue because Americans love their entertainment.

I don't like reading other teams message boards but I do at times out of curiosity and I don't know how much longer that Saban is going to coach. By reading Bama's forum it appears as J.Pruitt is high on the fan's list to be his replacement at this time. He's getting some good on the job training at UT.

If Pruitt goes 0/15 against Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, and then ends up a DB coach under Saban again, he won't even be considered for the HC job when Saban retires.

This is my personal opinion but my leash is longer with Pruitt vs Dooley or Butch because both had never really done anything on their own as head coaches. Now Pruitt hasn't either but this is his first head coaching gig.

One thing I personally believe is that Pruitt had a better tree and environment to climb the ranks compared to the previous two coaches. I think being a DC at the programs he was at was better than being a head coach at LA tech or Cincinasty...... One thing I have learned (based on last year) is that I won't judge a some blunt coach like Pruitt mid season. If he was to go 7-3 or 6-4, given the first 5 games, I think Pruitt would be at the same or slight better shape than where he was as a coach that just went 8-5 and bowl game win.

The offense needs a major spark and we will see what Pruitt does with the bye week in terms of getting the offense turned around. In its current stance, this offense ain't scoring a lot of points.
Here's how I'd do it, (world's greatest couch coach). 1. put my fastest receiver, (Holiday), opposite side of J.Hyatt. 2. shore up my pass protection blocking with a bigger back to pick up any blitzes. 3. have H.Bailey throw about 40 deep bombs per game and alternate receivers every other play with M.Wideman and C.Tillman being other two receivers. Might cause the spark you mentioned.

Worley was a hell of a lot better than Guarantano. Worley got hurt...Peterman was the one playing ahead of Dobbs

Speaking of money where tf is our boosters and our money? Cheap ass bastards

Surely a guy demonstrating intelligence like you do on here must have accumulated billions and can step up and cover all our financial needsl why don't you share you donations to UT the last five years? Must be impressive and could cover all the buyouts and pad the recruiting budget to help offset the losses with the trend in transfer rules in todays world.

Lol if I had billions, I wouldn't be a greedy ******* with it. I'd damn sure make sure UT was a good program for this community. That's what's wrong with this country. Too many greedy ass money hogging rich undeserving rich assholes.

We scored the least amount of points against Bama than anyone all year.

He is starting to sound more and more like Botch.

Now I am starting to wish for Mike Leach; at least he would have called it postgame for the overall garbage that it was.

And those other teams don't have JG as their starting QB either.....
