My son played Northside tonight in soccer. He said one of their players said Emerson wasn't happy having to play o line and may transfer. Hope not, but that's what the Northside player said.

He will DL all the way come fall

Emerson played his HS football in my backyard as I live right behind North Side High. He will be another great player to come through the ranks of UT football. And where they decide to put him he will give his all to coach Pruitt & his staff.....he's been a vol for a long time.

You must know the curry’s then! I graduated with Colie.

We used to make jokes all of the time about dropping tanks on his front pourch because you could see his house from home plate.

Because word of mouth in Tennessee especially Northside is gold..... From a soccer player at that. I mean come on you know as well as me how West Tennessee is.... I would take any word of mouth with a grain of salt.

The kid is going to play whatever position they give him because it will at least mean he will play. Our D-Line is honestly pretty stacked right now. We need more bodies on the O-Line and I am sure he realizes that if he does well he will get to start (at some point) it wouldn't be hard for him to make a name for himself. Seems like he is probably pretty good at the position if he hasn't been moved back yet.... Just saying.

In my opinion, I hope the coaching staff keeps Mr. Emerson on defense. I'd like to see him play from that position. I'm thinking he will have Vols fans thinking of the great late Reggie White with his playing from that position.
I'm sure coach Pruitt knows what's best for the team he's putting together and having seen really good talent for years now. Let's not forget we have highly sought after Emmit Gooden (6'4' & 305lbs) from the Brownsville area coming in as well.....will they also move him to be on the OL?
