WOW, Shows how little research you have done. Are you part of the National Media? Pruitt has coached in college football for seven years with 3 national championships. He has coached at Bama, FSU, and Georgia. At all three stops he has made the Defense much better. He is more qualified than Kirby Smart was when GA hired him!!!!

Yes, they are losing 31 Seniors.

I was at G-Day 2016 with 93,000 others in attendance for Kirby Smart's inaugural. Ludacris performed and the place rocked. Jason Eason (Richt recruit) looked pretty good.

There will not be 50,000 in Neyland for the O/W game if ADPF brings Pruitt or Steele to the microphone this week.

Am hoping for the best, but expecting three sub .500 bowl-less years before UT Coach #25 arrives to replace the "OC/DC Experiment".

I'm sure it's been said by now, but Pruitt looked good at FSU, UGA, and Bama. Not just under Saban. in 5 years with 3 teams he hasn't had a D rank lower than 16th nationally.

Really? Now we are rationalizing on the basis of our new HC option might be better than Sal? Wow.

That's 2 players and you need about 40.

We're in wait and see mode on Smart. I think he can coach, but this 12-1 season cannot be full credited to him. Getting a few great recruiting classes is not the same thing as building a great team. Lord knows we've had recruits that didn't pan out or didn't play well with one another. We won't know if he can build a full squad until we see it over the next 2 years.

See how Smart performs next season. He was handed a talent laden team, many of whom will be gone. Beating up a decrepit SEC-E didn't hurt either.

Not saying he isn't a good coach, but the deck was stacked in his favor this year.

I know a few "Tennessee people" who think we should have kept Butch.
