Pruitt about to land an epic recruiting class...

Has a bunch of guys that want to play together for Pruitt and his staff

These guys apparently like each other and love some Rocky Top !

I could substitute “Kiffen” or “Dooley” or “Butch” for Pruitt and it would describe the program for the past decade

Always the dog chasing its tail.

Until we find a coach that can develop players on the field, we are going to continue to be talking about next year.

C'mon man... this can be said about pretty much every class at every school

What is more important than anything is that he fills the needs on this team and does it every year. Hope that happens this year by focusing on monsters on the Dline. A couple of Juco guys along with whomever is top rated in high school this season and next and then focus strictly on High School guys will get us where we need to be faster than anything talent wise.

I know we have to recruit some elite talent to be competitive in the SEC, so I understand Pruitt’s comments, but I think Pruitt also needs to keep the current team together and finish with some momentum. If he loses the team now and we have a terrible finish to the season, I’m afraid our recruiting class will suffer.

Is Pruitt really doing that well? I honestly don't follow recruiting that closely.

I just hope he can hold it together, so far this team is no better than last year, there are 4 games left that can change that. If I'm a recruit, and I don't see improvement, I have to think hard about coming. The only thing that makes me feel good about having a struggling coach is CPF to show him the way.

Pruitt is bringing in guys who are passionate about winning. Also very talented.

No more of this loser Big East mentality that’s been lurking around our team for so long.

Where have I seen such sentiment before...oh yeah.

Ok I admit, I was one of the doubters about this hire but after what Butch Jones has done with this program, I believe Dave Hart made the right choice by hiring him to bring this program back where it belongs. He's done so much for us already that Dooley couldn't do like lead us to a victory over a ranked opponent the first time since 2009 and having a top 5 recruiting class so far. All the buzz that's going around Tennessee, you can't help but get excited about the future of our program. Not only does Butch Jones care about this program, but he also cares about his players on & off the field as well. He's a great coach with great character which we've lacked in a coach for quite sometime now. I know we still have a few more years until we're competitive in the SEC again but I believe Butch Jones is the perfect man for the job. I've never felt this good about a coach before in long time and I truly believe he'll put Tennessee right back on the map. Who else thinks so? GO VOLS!!! :clapping: :good!:  :dance2:

CJP got all emotional after Georga, and the team responded @ Auburn, made a bunch of dumb ass comments even if true after Alabama, and I think our defense kept looking over there shoulder for those 25 new guys at SC. e acted like a fool against I think FL, the game he kicked the whiteboard, he has been all over the place.

"this team is no better than last year"
REALLY? Do some of you folks even stop and think a few seconds after typing this stuff before hitting post reply?
Do you think Butch's 2017 team even keeps within three TDs of Auburn at home? Much less beat them on the road? By objective evidence it can be demonstrated that this year's team is obviously better than last year's. This team has an SEC win. And I think they get at least two more by the end of the season.

Yeah I’m sure that’s it. And not that they had 2 weeks to get healthy and prepared for Auburn and were beat down and battered by Bama and JG was not 100% and There best OL was out
