Pruitt became the only head coach of the 14 current SEC head coaches to have two wins over ranked opponents in his first regular season as a head coach. Pruitt also is the first Tennessee head coach with multiple wins over a ranked team in his first season since Phillip Fulmer in 1993.

Reminded me of the days where we used to dominate teams in November. Good game plan, good execution. The jury is out to me until the Vandy game. In my book, once a coach has beaten Vandy he can then be evaluated.

We’ve got a long ways to go, but I’m starting to think Pruitt is going to be the guy that gets us back to the top. We are seeing improvement (although it isn’t consistent yet) whereas with Butch we were seeing regression.

It has been preached for nearly a year now. It will take TIME . Maybe the time table is showing signs of being shorter than many of us think. But TIME is still the answer..
Watch a lot of MO.- Vandy yesterday and thought "on a good day (Alburn day) we can beat either one these teams. Now I really believe it.

We hoped for miracles at the begining but instead got growing pains with both players and coaches and saw progress which is all we should have hoped for to begin with. Here's hoping for CJP to have a long and VERY successful career here.

We've only been out of four games this season. Florida self inflicted, W. Va. good first half horrible second, Bama, and Georgia even though we held our own with them for part of the game. Next two could get us to 7 and 5 what a great first season for Pruitt if we can win those games.
