But here's the thing: All other way to appeal are hypotheticals on call and what not. The ref clearly declared the game over. I can assume this can be appealed.

thank you ... i think that if more people saw this then something can be done about it.. bc that literally goes against the exact rules of college football the way the game ended

Hamilton is too much a wuss (man would I prefer to use a different word) to make waves and complain, let alone make any kind of appeal. We lost, it won't be changed, but I wouldn't mind hearing some venting by the administration on behalf of the players who just had their hearts ripped out.

This is different from lsu, the ref never stood over the ball before the spike for our substitution time. They were moving players on and off the field and we never got the chance to do our subs at all. There was no reasonable time signaled by the ref.

Clock runs, game over.
